Coin Toss

Materials
Coins for everyone

Setup
1. Make a line across the floor using tape.
2. Gather enough 10 cent coins or other tokens for each group member to make 3 tosses.

Objective
Toss your coin or token as close to the line as possible without going over the line.

Activity
Youth take turns tossing coins. The closest to the line gets a prize. All who do not cross the line get a small prize.

Application
1. Discuss strategies used in order to win. Some will be bold and go for the line while others will play to get as close to the line as possible. We need to draw a line on where we stand in our faith. As Christians we also must draw lines of what is appropriate or not appropriate. For some of us this involves getting as close to God's line of sin as possible without going over... for others it involves staying a safe distance from the line so that there is no chance we will accidently cross over and be in sin.
