A Single Color

Wouldn't it be terrible? Wouldn't it be sad?
If just one single color was the color that we had?
If everything was purple? Or red? Or blue? Or green?
If yellow, pink, or orange was all that could be seen?
Can you just imagine how dull world would be
If just one single color was all we got to see?

Comments

I think this simple idea has potential as our current group is represented by several languages, color skins, ages, and personalities...I think it could be worked up to make an effective lesson. I may try this in simplicity by telling them we are all going to go back to one of our childhood favorites and color a picture. Passing out coloring pages, I will tell them each person will receive ONE crayon, although they can trade with their neighbor if they desire...only to pass out RED to everyone. I am sure they will complain about having to color grass red, the sun red, a dog red, etc....and it has potential to lead to good conversation.
