I was in a hurry last Wed. afternoon, trying to come up with some Christmas games to play with our youth group that night. I got on the internet and started searching. After wasting several minutes, I remembered I had saved your website a few months back. It was a life saver!
I found everything I needed - games, a devotional, fun ideas, all in one place!
God bless you and your ministry!!!!
What a great web site. So many great ideas in one place. Ideas that reach kids with the gospel and get them to thinking about their relationship with our almighty God. I will use this web site over and over and pass it on to my friends.
Had used vanishing cookies for about a year before you revised the site. The new one is outstanding and one of the first places I look for new ideas. Thanks
Thanks for the site. Our church is planning to open an outreach center downtown (small Texas town). We will serve youth in the area with Bible study and art classes as well as begin overnight worship with groups of girls/ women members as leaders and later boys with men members as leaders of the events. The information I've encountered on your blog is WONDERFUL!
we're a new church with a very small budget right now.
It's nice to have free resources available and people who are genuinely interested in our youth.
THANKS!
Thank You, Ken for your website. I used your game "do you love your neighbor" last night in my youth group and they enjoyed it. Great tool for youth pastors!
Just had to tell you that your work in this world is so very much appreciated on this side of the world..............Tasmania,Australia. I work with unchurched boys and find your recourse so helpful...to the point, just what I need. Thank you so much for making it available for free. We are having to fundraise all the time and money is tight. We hire a recreation centre and the boys from 4,5and6th grades flock. It is in a low socio-economic area so we have to offer the ministry for next to nothing. Object lessons are perfect too as they really help to bring home simple point about the Christian faith. Thanks again,Mike Lizotte,Gateway Ministries Devonport,Tasmania
My name is Steve Merrin, I have been involved in youth ministry since my senior year of high school (89). My wife was just surfing the net looking for new mothers day ideas, and she found your site. It looks like one of the best YM websites I have seen (like Youth Specialties but not as corporate). I book marked it.
I enjoyed your site very much. I am involved in Young Adults Ministry in our church and had been using your sites for icebreakers... got hooked on it and was very glad ive found it.
Just today while browsing i've found the flash presentation of the Bamboo - Galatians... Is it possible to download it ... i'd love to use it on our Leadership Fellowship on Tuesday (Elders, Deacons & Ministry Servants with Spouse plus the Pastoral Staff) ... it would be lovely to encourage them.
thanks a lot. hope to hear from you soon. The Lord bless you!
Thank-you for your website. I am one of 3 leaders for our group of 40 young people (20 juniors aged 10-12, 11 earliteens aged 13-15, and 9 youth aged 16-18) in our sabbath school programs. i value your ice-breaker exercises and your object lessons and find that the kids utilize them as a foundation for good discussions.
I was searching the internet for some ideas for our church youth group ... I am new, they all know each other. I wanted to find some good ways of allowing us all to get to know each other ... your site is just AWESOME.
Thank you for giving me some great ideas to build upon.
Just thought you might like to check out this most valuable resource for youth groups. For more than twelve years The Blacklight Theatre of the Mighty Warrior has traveled around the US working with all types of churches. Since the youth as well as adults are so visually oriented-this production has been used by lots of youth groups as well as youth conventions. The production uses those from the host group as the full cast as well as crew. This makes for a great opportunity for the youth to learn how the visual arts can be effectively used in ministry.
I found your site off of www.crosswalk.com and I thank you for so many useful ideas for games, devotions, and youth studies on your site. God bless!!!!
Just wanted to tell you that I appreciate you making your ideas available to those of us who volunteer our time to teach Sunday School. It has been a tremendous help to me in my object lessons. God bless you. jms
this is a great resource source site for me. I pretty much just stumbled upon it. Looking for something totally unrelated. It's like finding that 5 dollars in your pocket you didn't know about. You Da Man!

I just wanted to say thanks so much for all that it is and for taking the time to create this. I haven't looked through everything but the pages I have seen are amazing. I love the fact that so many of us around the world are serving our Lord together! Its amazing, true blessings... have a wonderful day.
Praise Jesus! I love your website, It is very informative. I wanted to ask if you have any skits for children. I am looking for a skit for 5 kids to perform for White Sunday in October. Any information is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
May the LORD continue to bless you abundantly for your work. God Bless

Hi! I teach Junior High Sunday School and have a new curriculum this year (that I did not get to pick) which did not exactly start off with a bang… So I used a couple of your games – measuring smiles and the Bob name game. Thanks for sharing the resources! They really got us off to a nice start. (Mostly new sixth graders this year). I think kids that are laughing are more ready to learn than those who are bored!
Thank you so much for this site. We recently had our Youth director resign and I'm the SS director and i happened upon your site. This is going to be very beneficial to our Youth and Church
Ken, This is a great site. Many many awesome ideas. Very happy to have found your site. Thank you for the valuable input and all of the time putting this site together. What a blessing!!
My name is Dayton Brattin and I pastor Mission Baptist Church in Washburn Missouri.
I wanted to send you a quick e-mail to thank you for your ministry and website. On Sunday mornings we have what I call children's church in which consists of me doing a short lesson or devotion with the children. And sometimes it is very difficult for me to come up with great children's sermons, and sometimes I feel because of my lack of creativity I don't give the children the best they deserve. However, through your ministry and website you help me to come up with some very good children's sermons. So I want to say a great big thank you! And keep up the great work.
Because He lives,

I hear what you are saying. God works in amazing ways and those youth who may not seem to be there for the right reasons, or at least we think. Who knows if that one time they come and all of a sudden things are made real for them through something. some helpful hints: 1. Call your youth group youth ministry. I believe that a youth group can be anything; however, a youth ministry speaks much more to the church and your teens. 2, create a mission statement for your group. Have the kids do this at a meeting night with some ideas you research on or you may find or maybe you need to create it. 3. have a name for your youth ministry...Ours is The CAVE which is Christ Amassadors as liVing Example. The kids love it! It sounds fun and has a great message and right away lets visitors know who you are and that you are for real. Finally, with most of your activities-have welcome, word, work, worship, witness. these can be done in any manner. I play Christian music in the background while we are doing a crazy games and the kids now know some of the songs and will sing along..and you have your worship. These are just some ideas to create your youth as a ministry and not simply as a group who comes to hang out for fun activities. Pray for your group at the end of a session even the ones that you may not know. They find it wired; however, it does stick with them that there are people that care even though they don't know them. Isn't that what Jesus' does for us? God's blessings in your ministry.
Thanks so much for this site. I used the Peter Pumpkin Object Lesson with our Outreach Kids Club for our Pumpkin Party. It went over real well. I was amazed how all 30 plus kids lessoned so intently. God is so good! Thank you for making this site available to me. I will definitely be using it again. It's on my favourites list. Blessings!
Ken has always been a Big Bro to me. Though we see each other very rarely since I live in the States now, he was influential in my life in many, many ways. I highly recommend him as a mentor and friend to anyone who is confused about life's path.

Thanks for the New Year's ideas. We used some of your icebreaker games at our New Year's Lock-in. Lots more youth brought friends (lots more than I expected, that is), so it was neat to have "undercurrent" games helping youth mix. We played the game with New Year's Hats and the one that you suggested garlands for. We used glow-in-the-dark bracelets instead of the garlands, which they liked. No one knew what "forfeits" were for the hat game, but they enjoyed watching each other perform them. One youth got wrapped up in Christmas paper (instead of toilet paper) with a lot of extra masking tape to hold it all together. Good fun! Our prize for the bracelet game was a box full of silly string and noisemakers for midnight (prize awarded at 11:50pm). Thanks for the great ideas. I just stumbled across your site in my searching for this activity, but I'll be back! :o)
I use your site all the time. You have such wonderful ideas. I work with two different groups at church, girls grades 1-6 and youth grades 7-12. I use your ideas for all of them. I have several sites I use but I go to yours first. I tend to favor the games and ideas where you draw or make things. I hope you keep this site going. Thanks alot!
Hey ken thank you so much for being on fire for CHRIST. This website has helped me take our youth teaching and extra activity to the next level!!! May the Lord Jesus bless your ministry!!!

Thank you sooooo much for your site. You save me a lot of time !! I found a bunch of good ideas today to send to our volunteers who work in schools in the city. Also connected with a great website through your site. Thank you soooo much for caring about youth !!
Thank you so very much for producing such a wonderful website. I am the Parish Administrator at our church, in which we are temporarily without our youth director. I love working with youth, so I said I would continue the youth program for a while in her absence. I have been able to have a great time with these youth along with teaching them! They are having a blast too and wonder where I am coming up with all these fun games and lesson plans.

I teach religious education to junior high kids at a Catholic church in Dallas. Your site has been such a blessing to us because it enables me to find games that make the lesson fun!
So far I've used a Christmas poem based on the Alphabet.
The "I Never" icebreaker game was a lot of fun, and we used it as an intro to our New Year's lesson where they made resolutions and made plans to do positive things that they had never done before.
Another good one was the empty box lesson. We did that one before Christmas, and it was a real shock to them when they opened the box...but it was a lesson that I think will stay with them for a long time.
This is my third or fourth year teaching Sunday School, and I have never found a site that it more helpful than yours!
I'll keep giving you feedback as I try new things.
Thank you so much for sharing these resources online. I'm Julie from the Philippines and i've been helping the youth in church through bible studies and group discussions. You are such a big help. Thank you so much. Hope more people could be like you. God bless.
i think that the web site is awesome and that it is a great tool for youth ministers. i am a young youth leader and wanting to be used by God in the music industry more than anything. i really enjoy the lessons because they teach youth how to be set apart and how to live a life pleasing unto God. so thanks a lot.
Hi Ken,
I used one of your ideas tonight. "I Doubt It" It was great. I am a lay person that helps with the youth. I usually just show up and the youth minister leads. He came down with the flu today, so I had to come up with something fast. The discussion was really good afterwards. It helped us get to the "meat of the matter."
This looks like an excellent site! I am an Awana Sparks Director for about 100 kids ages K-2 and from time to time, I have to come up with ideas for devotions when I am unable to have someone else teach. This site has some excellent ideas for larger groups, as well as some thought-provoking comments for leaders of youth. I plan to read some of the comments at my leaders' meeting tomorrow night.
Thanks for being willing to share these at no cost to other churches and ministries.

Just to let you know I have my first workshop with some kids and I needed some ideas to talk on the subject of PURPOSE. I wento go google and found your website.
I found to some good stuff to get me going on the above subject.
I will definitely be in contact with you to discuss how one can become an effect youth worker for the saved and unsaved.
Thank you for such an awesome site! It's been a great help for me as a youth leader. I just wish there were more seminars, workshops that we could attend.
Thank you for everything! Keep up the good work!!!
I really enjoy your site. I have used some of your ideas in our Wednesday night Kidz Church. My kids have loved the ideas. Thank you for making this valueable website available. May God's blessings be upon you.
My name is Patty Andrews and I work with the youth at Forrest Chapel UMC in Hartselle, Al. We have a group of about 10-15 jr/sr high kids that I teach Bible study to on Wed. nights. Around the holidays we have just fun, social times and I have found your game archives and also your devotionals to be a wonderful resource!
I am also the director of an after school program at an elementary school and have used some of your game selections with the children there. Your website is great! Keep up the good work!
As children's coordinator I am responsible for gathering materials for a multitude of classes, programs, and lessons. I teach Sunday School, lead a children's ministry during the morning worship hour, am responsible for the 2nd Sunday children's minutes, and I am constantly looking for quick and easy lesson prompts to get those classes going. I had a program to do in just a couple hours and was looking on the internet for some ideas. I just happened up on your website after Googling and found a never ending fountain of wonderful material. This has got to be the best site I have ever visited! Even though this site talks about youth, it is great for children as well. I found your "Blind Snowman" lesson and did this with a program with 7 and 8 year old kids. They had a great time trying to draw the snowman with their eyes closed. I expounded on the lesson and talked about people being blind in their faith versus those who trust in God and put his word in their heart. We talked about having low scores and high scores and how we score with God. Thank you so much for sharing what God has given to you with the rest of us. May God continue to pour out His blessings on you.

My name is Danielle. I'm a leader at our youth group at an AFM church
in South Africa. Thank you very much for creating this site.
In the community that we live, we don't have access to many resources
like this. It's a great help to know that we can use this as a basis
to work from when we run out of ideas to keep our young people excited
about their christianity.
Ken,
Thanks for the site. It's been very helpful in my ministry. Since finding your site, it seems that I am going directly to it even with all the other youth ministry sites on the web. I enjoy all the very creative ideas of teaching God's word to students.
Following His Steps,

I'm pastor and just recently our youth minister left and guess who's doing youth now. It's been 25yrs since that has happened and didn't know so much has changed with youth and their generation. It's kind of funny because now I'm listening to KSBJ (Praise & Worship) radio along with an assortment of CD's the youth have introduced me to. My wife and I both seem to be living a younger life, if you know what that means. We're more excited and are going more than we have in years. It's been good for us. But most of all, I've come to realize the hurting young lives that I've been brushing past each day and did not know how vulnerable they were to failure and disappointments. I want to do all that I can for the rest of my life to help our young generation rise above the spiritual poverty they exist in. God bless our youth in Jesus name, amen.
Thank you for making you resources available to help us reach our youth and keep them interested in Godly living. God bless you today in Jesus name, amen.
Dear Ken, Thank you for having such a resourceful site. It is a blessing to our church youth. We are a small church with limited resources and funds. To find a site that helps us use your materials for free, it is indeed a blessing. Praying for your continued ministry.
thanks ken :) i'm adding you to my dailies. great resource. i'm working at a local secondary school in the area of personal growth and self-leadership. and i'm only keen to feed them biblical values & principles. i'm really glad to have found this site.
As a sunday school teacher and a mother of 3 i am always looking for resources and ideas to stimulate their learning in a fun yet informative way.
Some of the things i have read on your site are brilliant and has inspired me to "beef up" my teaching with more varierty.
Thank you so much for sharing your work and expertise with us.

Plenty of tips and ideas, had a quick first glance, but I will be back to pick up many useful ideas. We need all the help we can get in putting across the WORD to our children and young people. Thank you for letting us have your brill ideas.
yes Hi my name is Teremoana. I just happened to browse on the internet to find something to help with our youth to be more creative and also to make the church environment to be a peaceful place for them to feel at home. I haven't started yet but I know it is going to be a blessing to our young people and to the church. I just need to find a way to get our youth to know God more. And I know your ideas are going to help a lot.
Hi Ken
Your site is awesome and thank you. The reason I was looking for these kinds of sites is I organize crafts and things for our Sunday School and am always looking for new things. The older group in our small class consists of 6 - 9 kids and its hard to find ideas and things for that age sometimes. I sent your address to the teacher of that class so between the 2 of us we should be able to really come up with good lesson plans. Thanks again.
Lynda
Ken, My wife and I are youth pastors at the Elyria Foursquare Church in Elyria, Ohio. We are always looking for new resources and when I came upon your page I didn't realize what I had found. This is a great resource and chuck full of great ideas. I am looking forward to coming back to it often. As a matter of fact we will be using one of the object lessons tonight. Thanks for putting together a great site. I will be sure and recommend it to my friends. God bless you and your ministry!
I found your website when looking for ideas for a treasure hunt for my
daughter and her friends, ages 13 & 14.
I used quite a few of your ideas, and added some of my own, and it was a big
hit!
I look forward to exploring your website further.
Thank you for sharing, and may God bless your ministry.

Well my name is Stefanie and I am 24 and live in a small town in PA. I was in the Military for almost 5 years and once I got discharged and moved back home I started teaching a Junior High Sunday School Class and within a few months I took over our Youth Group. I stumbled upon your website when I was trying to come up with some ideas for upcoming Youth Meetings. I absolutely love the site and am so happy that I was able to find it. Thank you for posting something so useful on the web to help Youth Leaders out.

Hi Ken, I am very pleased I found your site. I have had a lovely time collecting Resources for the Youth Camp I am going to today. We will have around 60 teenagers together for a week to do a little sowing of the Seed!!!
I am a 55 year old grandmother with 7 children that have now turned into adults!!! 5 have married giving us 5 wonderful additions plus 8 grandsons and 3 granddaughters - precious souls. God works in amazing ways generationally!!!
Our youngest son Jon is 15 and will drive for the first time on a 2-3 hour journey to Foxton Bible Camp in an area known as Manawatu in the North Island of New Zealand. We have a great old Mercedes (1987) and he is very excited by the prospect!!!
Sometimes I am concerned at the content of the 'Concerts' that are traditionally held on the last night at 'Camp' so this time I have been on the lookout for something more appropriate! Loved the jokes on your site and have picked up one or two other bits and pieces that I hope my Study Group in particular will enjoy using.
Very pleased to find some Resource material for a Grief Programme I will be facilitating for 16+17 year olds next school term on feelings and masks too! Excellent stuff!!!
Thank You for your service for God... Anne Robinson

I have referred them to your site to assist them in their lessons, games, etc. Currently, I am assisting five public and 1 private school in this ministry. I have your name and website listed on those sheets.
Thanks again! Please keep me posted with any additions you make to your resources.

I have browsed through your website and found a lot of creative ideas that I could adopt for my Sunday school class. I am a Sunday school teacher ministering 12 to 14 years old kids for a church named Church of Christ Jesus (GKY JMB) in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Thank you for taking your time to create this website and allowing us to access. I believe that a lot of people have been blessed from it.
Ken,
I am the youth director for a small country church in Mooresburg, TN. However, I do have a group of about twenty youth ranging in age from 13-22. They are an awesome group and we travel doing dramas and human videos. I found lots of great fun ideas for our yearly campout retreat. Thanks for all the awesome info!
I just found your site and absolutely love the information. I work with the Prime Time group (55+ yrs. young) in our church. I do a lot of programs and found several ideas on your site. God Bless You.

Ken,
I am blown away! I am convinced that your site was sent straight to me by God's own hand. I am a very fun and creative person, but I needed a way to connect the fun with the scripture for our kids. It has taken me half the day to decide on only one creative teaching idea for tonight! I want to do them all!!
Thanks so much for being used of the Lord.
I will continue to use your site. Keep up the good work!!
Your website is a great blessing to us. I thank the Lord for people like you
who freely share various materials that can be of great help to people like
us.

haven't yet fully explored ) has got the right stuff my brother! hope to
keep in contact with you and share some of my experiences with you as the
Lord continues to use for the extention of his kingdom.
Thank you for adding me to your site. I have found your site to be quite helpful. I am the new youth minister for a UMC church. I have been in youth ministry for approximately 4 years now. I am always looking for fresh new material to use with youth.
I am the youth leader at my church. Starting next month I am starting up the youth group! I need ideas badly!! We have a small group on a limited budget! We are going to meet once a month until it takes off! Or at least I hope it does! I need ideas for lessons, games and other fun things! If you have any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it! I really like your site! Lots of information to search through!
I have recently taken the reins of the Sr. High Youth Group at my church. I
was so happy to find your site and some ideas for a scavenger hunt. I hope
to visit the site in the future for more help in planning activities. I
think the site is wonderful--it has a variety of ideas on many subjects that can be adapted to fit almost any group. Thank you so much for hosting the
site.
I have used you site on a number of occasions before registering. I assist my husband pastor a small church and we have been struggling to re-build it for the past 2 years following a major walk out of 30 - 40 people which has left my husband is shattered. So I have had to re-commenced the children's work and I was looking for ideas to get the kids work up and going. I found the object lesson
very helpful and so are the games. You free site is a real blessing for me at the moment as our finances are limited. Thanks for sharing your talents
My name is Vivian I'm 43 age and my main ministry is for the age 13 - 25 and some times I looking for activities and any new things i live in Jordan so my English not that perfect and want to stay on contact with your site
I just had a quick peek at the website and it looks great! I am excited to use it for upcoming youth events... what I am liking the most is the fact that it's filled with Scripture!
Thanks!!!
Sara
Thank you for giving to the lord. This site is a true blessing and help for me as a youth leader. It gave me hope when I thought I ran out of ideas for youth ministry. God Bless!!
I live in Portadown N. Ireland and attend the Elim church where my husband and i head up the youth church dept. which runs on alternate Sunday mornings for ages 11 - 15 yr olds. we are blessed with an average of 40 kids.
Your site is an excellent resource which ive used over the past 2 years and panicked when i couldn't get a connection last week!!
You're very gifted and obviously work lots to up keep the site.
I think this website is a wonderful resource. I teach an adult ladies Sunday School class and they love object lessons as much as teenagers do! I am always looking for creative ways to bring the lessons to life so the ladies will remember the truths I am teaching from God's word!
I discovered your site by accident while looking for ideas and inspiration for my children's youth club at church. I'm working with some other mom's on crafts, and was hoping to bring more of a lesson/food for thought to tie the craft to their faith. I loved the stories of inspiration and the inclusion of a verse at the end of each. I brought some in to share with the other mom's during our planning time, and we were really able to use some of the ideas as starting points for lessons to make the most of our time with the kids.
I've shared your site with all of them, and I'm sure we will all return later in the year in search of other ideas.
Thank you for creating the website, it is easy to navigate and there is so much there to explore.
Your teachings are valuable and they are not only used in the youth ministry but even to me - to edify my life. Thank
you. Please continue and let me know if I can do something to help out this ministry financially.
This is Ann from the Philippines. I am a pastor's wife and I oversee our Y&A Fusion (Young & Adult Fusion). This is our church's youth net. I found your site so helpful in preparing materials for our youth's gathering. We hold our gathering every Saturday 6pm-8pm. We have 30 active youth attenders at present.
May the good Lord continue to use your site as a vessel and instrument to further God's Kingdom.
Thank you for all the help I have been getting on your website. Sometimes I would get stuck with a topic and I would simply just pop onto your website and get everything I need that would be able to edify the young people I work with. I just feel like sometimes I hit an all time blank. Please pray for me.
Loved the site! Thank you so much for providing ideas for others who
teach children gospel of Jesus Christ.
I've been looking for a Bible Verse Treasure Hunt... And found info for
one on your site. I can't wait to learn about it.
I desire to make learning about God fun for the children. God is so
wonderful, creative and loving... I want church to be a joy for the
children.
Thank you so much for providing these wonderful ideas. I know much
hours of teaching, study and trial and error must have went into
developing these ideas. I am truly blessed to have found your website.
I believe the Lord led me to this site.
THANK YOU... For sharing what you have learned with others! This is
such a precious gift that can help us teachers bring many into the
Kingdom of God.
Thank you, and God bless you.
Sincerely,

Your website has been a tremendous blessing to me. I am a new pastor and have a small amount of youth that I am trying to reach out to and help to grow. Your site has given me endless materials to use that have proven to be effective. Thanks so much for your ministry and gifts you give to all of us.
Hi Ken
I am making Great use of this site. My husband and I pastor a small Pentecostal church in out-port Newfoundland where resources are very limited and we have a 4 hour drive to the nearest Christian book store. There are about a dozen in our youth group right now, but it's nearly doubled in the last few months. This generation is very difficult to minister to, but your website is certainly taking them in the right direction.
God Bless!
Faye
My husband and I are doing a youth retreat on mentoring and found a few things on your site very helpful. Thank you for sharing so freely!
May God encourage and bless your day.
I greet you in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus the Christ.
I just wanted to thank you for allowing me access to your site. It has truly been a blessing.
I am an associate minister in Huntsville,Alabama and I occassionally have to do the counsel time for our AWANA Ministry's "Theme Night". This time last year I used your idea about the pumpkin and God walking through the pumpkin patch (can't remember the exact name of it); but it really reached the children (ages 3-16) and many adults in ways that I never could have imagined. They are actually still talking about it to this day. I thank you so much.
I am a new youth worker in a small bible church in Colorado. Don't have any
qualifications to be a youth worker i.e. Education from a seminary, have
kids, or had any kind of experience of any kind with a youth group. The
only thing I have is a calling from God to do what I can for them. I have
been searching like a mad man on how to conduct, plan, mentor, teach, all
for the purpose of bettering myself.
Your site is a huge help. Thanks for putting it together.
This is an amazing website for youth ministries. I am really blessed and find it really very helpful to our newly established church's youth ministry. More power and anointing!
your site has been a blessing! i enjoy all of your ideas and suggestions and teaching resources. i have been working with kids for 6 years and i need as much help as i can get!
I want to thank you a lot for being such blessing to me. I cannot tell you how much your web sites are helping me in my ministry. I have good experience in preaching and I even taught homiletics but your web site is helping me a lot especially as I start new home group ministry.
Please keep me in your mind when ever you find a good link. Your contribution is an investment in the ministry in Lebanon
I just had an overview of the site and plan to go through it in details later. We have started a youth movement in our church and I needed some ideas for it. On searching we found your site and Its just what we need.
My name is Andrew Antonio Fernandez and I am in Cochin India. I attend the Master Ministries Church here. It a full gospel based church. My wife Priscilla and myself are involved in the church activities and our Pastor wanted us to take up the Youth movement. With no prior experience in this but God's and Pastor's blessings and of course now help from you we are confident of doing something worthwhile for the youth of Cochin.
You have an awesome Website that is completely devoted to God and how wonderful He is. Thank you for being a bright light for youth. I am looking for ideas because it is my first time working with young people and thank God I found your website is very helpful...God bless and thank you .Lupita

I used animal kingdom with my youth to let them learn how much God cares for them in a fun way. I added giving them snacks that related to the animal of their group choice. They munched while my husband read scripture and talked to them on their level about God's love. Wow! what an impact this leson was. Thanks Ken. God Bless. Linda
My husband and I work in Jr. Church and we are always looking for new ideas to be a blessing in this children's ministry. I'm really delighted that I
found your website. I wanted to give a salvation focus and I wanted
something new that would intrigue the children. Who doesn't love Tootsie
Pops? I'm going to use your Object lesson idea using the Tootsie Pop. I'm so
grateful that you have the burden for this ministry. I can tell you enjoy
your work.
You are a person easy to love! Your objective lessons are great blessing to me. I am a pastor of a church in Lebanon middle east. My real name is Walid
I'm a new youth minister at my church (Liberty Lighthouse Church of God) in Hartford, Kentucky. I really love your site. I've learned that teens don't have a very long attention span and there are so many great ideas on your site. Thank you for taking the time to make your site to help others reach the Lord. My goal in life is to reach as many youth as I can for the Lord. May God Bless You in everything that You do...
I'm a youth minister in my church (New Nature Christian Ministries in London, United Kingdom) and have been for a while now. i accessed your web site and was amazed and very impressed God has anointed you in such a great way and you have a wonderful heart to share these ideas with us all at no charge i actually want to support your ministry because of your kindness.
I must be honest and say that I stumbled upon your website completely by
accident and I am so glad I did!!! I found your "Creative Teaching
Ideas" section useful, practical and very relevant for our youth. I have yet to explore what else your site has to offer and am so looking
forward to using more of it in the future.
Thank you for your willingness to share the awesome gift God has laid
upon you!
I LOVE the site! My friend told me about it. I do a Bible study for Middle
School girls in our public school. I do it right after school. Also, I will
be helping some ladies in the town next to us with a much bigger Bible
study. She has speakers, a band, etc. then breaks into small groups. Your
"ideas" will be great to use for group settings. I didn't want to quit
reading all that you have but it's getting late. Thank yo sooo much for all
the useful info!! Blessings, Connie
My name is Chris Watson and I have accessed your website a few months ago and I have to say it has some awesome stuff for youth ministry. There is some good object lessons that I would like to use if I could. I really appreciate your ministry and gifts that you allow others to use for God's glory. Keep up the good work.
Chris
I just found your web page but I am already very excited about it.
To introduce myself: I am a missionary from Germany, working with PMA in Pohnpei, Micronesia. (www.pmapacific.org) My responsibilities are
Children and youth ministry. Therefore I am always looking for great
ideas To make our programm's creative and exciting. It is especially difficult to Find good games, since the people are very shy here. Thank you very much For making this homepage available for free! I appreciate that a lot.
Love the website. Tonight for our youth lesson, I used the Parable #2 lesson, where Jesus washes His disciples' feet in John 13:1-7. God laid it on my heart to relate it to serving others and actually "doing" rather than just "saying." We lived out the lesson and ended it by getting supplies for Operation Christmas Child and actually serving instead of just talking about serving. Thanks for letting God use you!
I attend a small church where we have only a handful of young people of varying ages. My husband's grandson, age 12, says Sunday school is boring. My step-daughter and I (she has children aged 9 and 10) are looking and praying about what to do. That is how I came across your site.
I have only browsed a little but I can see there are lots of great ideas.
Your website is great! I wish I would have found it sooner. I recently became the youth group director of our church, and I am discovering it is a very challenging job. You have given me some very good ideas!
I am a 7th grade Trinity youth teacher and a 3rd grade Sunday School teacher who loves to think out of the box when it comes to teaching. I believe the children can have fun learning and I am always looking for new ideas. I have designed my own curriculum in which to teach my 3rd grade kids and my Trinity group is currently working on the Old Testament. Thank you for access to your website. I will be checking it out when I have a little free time (usually during my lunch hours at work).
I like the thanksgiving object lesson a lot. I have recently decided to start doing more object lessons because my youth are middle school and wound up! So I will use this tomorrow night and see what happens! Thanks again!
Thanks so much for the great idea for a short Thanksgiving devotional. I am using it tonite with our K-5th youth program. I had never thought about using this story and I appreciate your willingness to share. THANKS and GOD bless !
Ken,
I just came across your site and it is a lifesaver! I am a Denver Seminary grad, have done ministry for years and am now a stay at home mama of a 3 & 2 year old. We just moved to a little town and I have felt God leading me to help with the youth group. It has been so fun to be involved and God is doing amazing things. With very limited time on my hands, Godis using this site to help me prepare solid lessons for these kids!
Thanks so much!!!!

Hello! I have to say that this is a very useful website that i will be using in the 2008-I am wanting to start a children's hour at my church on youth Sunday, and some of your ideas are great for that! keep up the good work and God Bless!
Lots of helpful ideas. Thank you. I will share this with other teachers so we can keep the children and youth involved in the bible study not as spectators
I live in Trinidad and I am the secretary of the youth group at my church. As part of my job I also have to plan activities that will get the youths involved and enjoy the service. I am also a Sunday School teacher so I'm always looking for ideas for lesson plans. My greatest
challenge, especially in youth group, is to get to youths to enjoy the service. Sometimes they don't seem interested and just come to get out of the house. This year we are aiming to make a change in their lives.
I'm currently checking out your website and so far it's very helpful. If you have any more ideas feel free to email me. Thanks for all your help
in advance.
Ken,
I just want you to know that you and your web site has been a blessing to me!!! I am to teach our JH/HS Sunday school classes, and I was not happy with the curriculum provided through our church. I needed to find something that was good, and since I live far away from a big Christian bookstore, i went on line to search. Well, one of my favorite books of the Bible is Philippians!! In my heart, I wanted to teach that book, but i also wanted to have some aides in doing so. As I searched the web a second time, i found your web site, and there with a green dot beside it was a study of the book of Philippians!! I was rejoicing as I read all 8 lessons!! They are wonderful!! I used the first one last Sunday, and the students seemed to enjoy it. I did get a little feedback and it was positive.
Our youth pastor resigned and the SS Superintendent asked me to teach. I love to teach and share the great love of God. I know that I was blessed and learned as I studied. And I truly believe that God was working in the hearts of our youth Sunday morning. Our goal is to learn all the memory verses assigned for all 8 lessons. What fun it will be to tie them up this Sunday, just like Paul had been tied up. Hope i can get them to sing and pray as Paul did when he was imprisoned!!
Again, thank you SO MUCH for your web site. The address is in my "favorites" column!
Blessings to you! "I thank my God everytime I remember you." Phil. 1:3

Your site is so blessed with ideas! It has been a great help! Keep shining for Christ and may the Lord continuously prosper and bless your ministry! GOD bless you always.
Thanks for doing much of the brainwork and legwork! You are a great resource when I need to put something together fast. I definitely have this site as one of my favorites.
I teach the youth @ our small church. I've been looking for some object lessons, and I found your site! What a treasure! God bless you for having such a wonderful resource!
I just found your website this evening...what a blessing it has been to me and an inspiration for me and the church work I am doing with young people.
God Bless...
I needed a quick lesson for tonight's Wednesday Teen Group as the leaders had an emergency and cannot be there. Thanks for this site! I found exactly what I needed. I will be checking it often!
This site is exactly what I have been looking for. I have been in search of stories like this to aide in my class of youth ministry. Not only that, it helped me to confront a struggle I have been working with this past week. And like the lady, I too get the message Jesus. Thank you
Just wanted to say what an inspirational site - so helpful for our English Youth Group meetings - I will definitely visit your site again for God-inspired wisdom.
Thank you.
Hi,
Just want to say thanks for this resource! I lead a middle school youth group and I have found some very helpful stuff on your site. Thanks and God Bless!
Thank you for all the work you have put into your web-site!!! There are so many creative and helpful ideas and lessons. My husband and I have been involved with pre-teens for years and we love it!!!! Although I have plenty of teaching skills and all the kids LOVE my husband, we are not the most creative couple! Having a resource like your site is tremendous in our efforts to keep our classes fun and interesting as well as including the Bible.
Yesterday for our class we used your Valentines day idea. We made the posters where the kids had to write what Love is..... and see which team came up with the most words. We also had them build a heart tower together on separate teams with the candy hearts. For their at home assignment we ask them to memorize 1Cor 13:4-7.
Thank you for your heart concerning our youth!!!!! Have a great day!
I am really enjoying looking at the different activities for the youth. I pray that I can find the right ones for the youth in my church and neighborhood. Ken, continue to trust the Lord and he can use you!!!!
I have been blessed by your website as has been the youth at my church. We have just recently started a new youth ministry and this is my first time heading it. I am very pleased that God has chosen me for this ministry. I work at a residential home for children with emotional and behavior issues. God has used me there and is now using me in my own church. I have researched and read many youth program books but by far your web site has blessed me the most. I will prayer that God continues to use you to bless others.
I loved your site and did get some GREAT ideas. I appreciate everything you put in to sharing the creativity God has given you to further ministry to Youth. God bless you as you continue to serve Him!
I am just beginning to look through your site. We lead teen Bible study group of approximately 20 in a home setting each week. We have a lesson book, but need some object lesson/illustrations to help them remember and also grab their attention. Thanks!
Thank you so much for your web-site. I have been using it for my youth group and truly has been a blessing. I also use it for my women prison ministry. It's funny how something for a youth group can also be used for women prisoners. Again thank you. Keep up the good work. God's Blessing to you....
I have absolutely enjoyed your website, I've "borrowed" one of the ideas on the site for my kids and I think I'll use some more and try to contribute a few. A little bit about me, I have been in youth ministry for seven years now at St. Kieran Catholic Church in Shelby Twp, MI. Thank you for providing all of us with ideas that will help us guide our kids toward the message of love that God continues to provide.
I am involved with an independent church in Kuilsriver, Cape Town. I am presently at a Bible college called "Cornerstone Christian College" in Cape Town (www.cornerstone.org.za), where I am in my third year of studying for my degree in theology. I have enjoyed what you have had to say and look forward to using it far more frequently in the future.
My wife who is employed as a school's book keeper ,has managed to find time to get involved with the disciplining of a group of children between the ages of 9 and10. She will also be using and leaning on your skills.
I think your website has many good ideas. I think your website will be useful to me in the future as the youth leader of our church.
May God continue to bless you as you share your ideas and talents with others.
Just wanted to say that I love your site. It has really helped me out and I feel that I will learn and get a lot out of it the more I use it. I am a Sunday school teacher for the youth department at my church and i really do enjoy it. It is really where God wants me to be. And I do feel that your site will give me more knowledge of things I need to do. Thanks alot.
We had to do a presentation in church and in our youth meeting and your website helped us a great deal with exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much and keep up the good work.
God Bless you.
I'm very involved at my church and help run the junior high program. I am also the youth groups worship leader. Your site is great for people looking for ideas and things for their group and stuff.
I am a Sunday school teacher at our church for 3-5 year olds. I am also on the missions/outreach committee.
I just found your website in looking for something different to do for a lesson on the day we did our Easter egg hunt. I chose to do the object lesson with the tea bag. The children ranged in age from 3-10 and even 6 adults, they loved it.I plan on using more of the lessons you have to teach my Sunday school class.
Thanks for the time you spend in putting together this great website.I know God uses people for His purpose and God has certainly used you.
I was about to write to you but I was still going through the website. It is EXACTLY what I wanted. It has so many ideas. I am about to give a retreat to a group of 15 year old boys from the high school where I serve as campus minister and I desperately wanted idea to make the retreat interesting. Your website has solved my problem.
I am a Roman Catholic nun, and serve as the Campus Minister at St. George's College, a high school for boys in Kingston Jamaica. The older boys have to make a retreat as part of their graduation requirement. The younger boys have Days of Prayer. At first I thought that the school's policy of compulsory retreats and days of prayer was not a good idea, but I have come to see that for many of them, it is the only time they get to come to encounter God. You know however, that straight talks would not work with teenagers so I have to come up with ideas to present the message of Christ, but to make it fun and interesting at the same time. Thank you very much.
Hi Ken! I just wanted to tell you how much I have already enjoyed the lessons/activities/ideas from your site! I work with children of all ages in my church, and I have been referring to your site regularly since I discovered it kind of by accident one day. Thanks for all of the creative ideas!
I did enjoy your site and will probably use it more in the future.
I am the Children's ministry leader at Kloof Harvest Christian Fellowship in Kloof, Durban, South Africa, On Fridays we have Junior Youth. We have divided the ages 6 - 10 (called "Buzz) and 11 - 13 (called Globe). God is doing a big thing in the children's ministry and we have up to 200 children come on Fridays. The Youth leaders in our church help as well as a lot of adults. To make Fridays really exciting we need ideas to draw the children in and that was what I was looking for when I came upon your site. Visit our church site at www.kloofharvest.co.za
God Bless

Hi! My name is Nichole. My husband and I are youth directors at our church. I
Would like to tell you this site is a blessing. I teach my youth myself on Wed Nights and the lessons from your site has helped me so much. The kids love the lessons. It also helps me. Thank you so much for this site. You have a
Blessed weekend.
My name is Deborah Wilson and I want to thank you for your awesome site. My husband and I lead a small youth group that loves playing the games you have listed. I look forward to finding the right one that somehow ties into our less. They have been great openers, and we have been truly blessed by them.
I have used your ministry ideas (in Japanese) in a church plant an hour outside of Tokyo and have had great response. I tend to work with younger kids but a lot of the ideas translate well. Your endorsement of http://www.kidssundayschool.com/ got me registered and connected with their resources also – I’m very grateful for your advice there also. Thanks for providing such quality ministry, it’s helped me greatly.

I LOVE THIS SITE!!! I am using this site to prepare curriculum for children ages 3 - 8 who are getting an age-appropriate lesson while their families attend the last half of the worship service. I use your site as a springboard for lessons that mirror the sermon the grown-ups are getting. I also use the site to gather object lessons to go along with my husband's sermons. Then, I cut and paste them into an email for him to deliver to the kids at the front of the church just before they leave to go back to hear what I (and this website) came up with. Then, a dash of other info & a craft and we are good to go!
THANK YOU for the time you spend sharing your creative ideas!!!

This is a fabulous site. I am teaching a High School Sunday School class and this is one of my favorite resources. My goal in the class is to bring Jesus with me every Sunday and these lessons help me achieve that goal. Thank you very much for aiding me in being a better vessel for Jesus.
This was my first visit to your site. I have to take a youth bible class today and I have prepared material from your site. May God bless you for the wonderful site. I found it very useful and interesting.
I said i am an Evangelist called to go to Ghana for a missionary work but i am still preparing because God has showed me my life partner in the University Campus Fellowship Unimaid. But the Pastor that i am under him wanted to put hand on my marriage to distract the programme of God. But i told them that God has interest in my marriage they should not temper with the marriage committed to do any politics.
I told them to call me and the Sister to give us advice that if to say i need to have patience again i can still do it, because i had a patience about 3 years and now the Sister will be graduating this year.
Thank you.

Hi not sure if it worked when I put in my email address. My name is Paquita Stringer, Chaplain 2 days a week at Narrogin Senior High School Western Australia.
We have a bible study here at school during lunch and was just looking for some ideas. I am also Pastoring Narrogin Christian Centre AoG Church which we planted 1 ½ years ago and growing well, we also have a youth group every Friday night.
My name is Stacy and I am 23 years old. I have been a youth director for two years now.

Being youth director has been especially difficult for me.
I am desperately Trying to come up with new creative ideas to reach out to our small community, and your website is a big help.
Right know I am trying to pull off my first VBS.
I needed to come up with some ideas that could work for all ages. As you see, I need a lot of help and I have searched Everywhere.
Your website was a tremendous help. Very detailed and has given me a little boost. With the help of your website, I am going
To work hard and maybe God will use me to make a difference in these kids lives. I am not concerned with numbers as long as I can reach at least one.
Thanks again, your website is great. May God Bless You!
In Christ,
Stacy
I work in the Released Time Christian Education to the public schools through our church Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, CA. We use curriculum that has been around since the 70's when I taught in Child Evangelism Back Yard Bible Clubs. It is good...presents the Word of God and the gospel...but it is very outdated. I have been looking for ways to bring the truth of these lessons more up to date. Your web page is a blessing, giving me insights and materials that will bring new life to the lessons. Thank you for sharing your ideas with people like myself. May God continue to bless your work.
Sincerely,
I am Desiré Dathini from South Africa. I have been in youth work for the last 7 and half years. At the moment I am a youth pastor at the salvation Army South Rand Community Church...a mouth full I know...

Hi Ken

Ken,
My name is Dayton Brattin and I pastor Mission Baptist Church in Washburn Missouri.

Hi Ken!

Thank you!

Hi Ken,
I used one of your ideas tonight. "I Doubt It" It was great. I am a lay person that helps with the youth. I usually just show up and the youth minister leads. He came down with the flu today, so I had to come up with something fast. The discussion was really good afterwards. It helped us get to the "meat of the matter."
God speed.

Right now there is a great need in our fellowship and community, to keep

As from the ages of 9years old the children are addicted to drugs and
prostituion and unemployment is rife.
So be for sure we will use your great ideas, I was like a kid in a candy

about it.
Be blessed and I will keep in touch.

Hi Ken,
My name is Tara Poole & I am a new volunteer youth director for Mt. Olivet UMC. I have worked in children's ministries for several years, but youth is a new ball game for me. When I came across your site I was so excited with all the ideas. You helped me come up with very creative games & more. We had a Candy cane themed Christmas party with all your candy cane ideas & the kids had a blast. Thank you so much for your time & dedication to helping all of us who work with the youth find Great creative ideas. I really appreciate it!

Hey, ken!
I'm so glad to find your website, and see so many creative and practical ideas for the youth ministry. Lots of Brilliant work!
I'm the tutor of the youth fellowship of my church, there are around 18 of them, they are all energetic, just want to bring them more closely to God and build up their faith. I find the materials, esp the great adventure book inspiring. I'm a teacher as well, and the activities planned are fun and practical. I'm thinking about ordering it, still want to hear the advice from my ministry partners.
Let me hear more updates from you.cheers!

I just happened to browse on the internet to find something to help with our youth to be more creative and also to make the church environment to be a peaceful place for them to feel at home. I haven't started yet but I know it is going to be a blessing to our young people and to the church. I just need to find a way to get our youth to know God more.
In His Service,
Melissa

I can tell you enjoy
your work.

Ken-
Thank you for all the work you have put into your web-site!!!

Thank you.

My name is Stacy and I am 23 years old. I have been a youth director for two years now.
I got married straight out of high school at 18. I have two boys, Dawson 4, and Mason 2.

As a Christian teacher in a Christian school, I am always looking for creative and innovative ways to keep God's word alive in my student's lives.
I will be passing your website on to all of the teachers at my school.
Thank you.

Dear Ken
I live and work in South Africa and do youth retreats from time to time.Working with young people is very enriching as I can share my faith experiences with them and create an atmosphere where they can deepen their own experience with God. It is good to get new ideas (browsing through your site) to keep the Good news alive.
Thank you
